Master Diesel Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a passion for diesel mechanics to join our team. As a leading hand, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of heavy diesel mechanics in our dynamic workshop environment.
Our ideal candidate will possess a trade qualification as a heavy diesel mechanic and have at least 5 years of experience working on combustion engine equipment. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of heavy diesel mechanics
- Contribute to safe work practices and ensure quality workmanship
- Relevant Trade Qualification as a Heavy Diesel (HD) Mechanic
- Relevant experience as a Leading Hand or in a Leadership role or a willingness to lead a team
- 5 years of minimum experience working on combustion engine equipment
- Commitment to performing quality work and high attention to detail
- Excellent work-life balance - Early Friday finish
