As a casual academic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality subject materials, conducting face-to-face teaching, and providing clinical supervision.

Salary Details

The successful candidate will be remunerated in accordance with the Bond University Casual Academic pay scales. The hourly rate for this position is estimated to be between $45-$60 AUD per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

This casual academic position involves all aspects of subject delivery, including:

  • Preparing high-quality subject materials
  • Conducting face-to-face teaching
  • Providing clinical supervision
  • Designing and marking assessments
  • Finalising grades

You will be required to work on an 'as-needed' basis to meet academic teaching requirements for the Occupational Therapy discipline. This position is ideal for those who value flexibility and variety in their work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree or higher qualification in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Full registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Substantial experience in Occupational Therapy, including clinical background/experience in clinical OT practice
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Skills in digital technologies and information systems
