Assistant Property Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of Assistant Property Manager. This is a two-part time position that offers long term career prospects for the right applicant.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and be looking for a busy and varied role full of challenges and great experiences.

Previous experience in property management will be looked upon favorably but is not essential. The successful applicant will have either completed their real estate salesperson qualifications or be currently enrolled to complete.

The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for managing daily tasks for assigned properties and assisting the Senior Property Manager in day-to-day operations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Advertising Properties & negotiating lease terms
  • Performing tenant screenings and holding open homes
  • Communicating with tenants
  • Maintaining property data bases
  • Maintaining property by addressing tenants' complaints
  • Co-ordinating maintenance and inspections

The successful applicant will have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and TICA.

A holder of Queensland Real Estate Salesperson License or currently enrolled in a course which will provide this qualification upon completion is required.

A clean current Open Queensland Driver's License is also required.
