Civil Labourer Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Labourer to fill a vacant position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general civil groundwork including trench digging, top soiling and sweeping, and overall site maintenance.
  • Mark out areas and lay pipes and/or conduits.
  • Operate hand and power tools.
  • Conduct concreting and asphalt work.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Construction Industry Card (White Card).
  • Prioritize safety above all else.
  • Hold a current driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Be equipped with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including work pants and high visibility shirt.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Able to effectively communicate and work as part of a team.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be self-motivated.

Essential Skills:

  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience working in construction or civil engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Basic first aid training.
