About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Network Design Specialist to join our Technology Systems Team at WSP Global Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ICT solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop ICT network solutions for major projects
  • Produce technical drawings, specifications, and reports for ICT solutions
  • Provide specialist ICT advice on infrastructure, active networks, and wireless solutions
  • Support projects in the construction phase through site inspections, testing, and commissioning
  • Conduct wireless network modeling and provide market scans and cost-benefit analysis
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure ICT network compatibility
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the development of engineering support tools
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or work-based experience
  • RCDD or equivalent certification
  • DCDC or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT and Communications projects
  • Experience in Data Centre design and project delivery
  • Proficiency in VISIO and Wi-Fi design principles
  • Track record of leading medium-scale projects and contributing to larger projects
