Job Title:

Team Leader

The Role:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Leader to oversee the delivery of drug and alcohol services by our multidisciplinary team.
  • The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge and clinical experience in the assessment and management of D&A services, as well as a strong understanding of complex health needs.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a team of D&A clinicians, providing clinical resource and specialist support at a local level.
  • You will be responsible for designing and leading site-based clinical case review meetings, focusing on D&A issues, and conducting specialist assessments and management of withdrawal states, maintenance pharmacotherapies, intoxication, and overdose states.

Requirements:
  • Hold current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Prior experience in a D&A setting is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years working with persons with substance abuse issues is required.
  • Live in Australia and have full working rights in Australia.
  • Post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years post-registration experience in D&A nursing are highly desirable.
  • Experience holding a leadership and management role in a drug and alcohol service is also highly desirable.
  • A SMART facilitator or willingness to obtain certification is required.
  • Hold a current First Aid/BLS certificate or be willing to obtain one.
