The Payments Experience Team
We're a globally distributed team responsible for creating each order, gathering payments from customers across multiple local and global payment methods, handling returns and refunds, and more. We're deeply connected to the foundations of our business and play a critical role in unlocking growth and creating new ways for users to transact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable payment systems and infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications, including payment processing and order management systems
- Work closely with our Payments Treasury team to drive business growth and innovation
- Identify and mitigate payment-related risks and fraud
- Develop and implement advanced shipping options and improved delivery times
- Provide exceptional customer support and experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly with JavaScript, web frameworks, and modern frontend applications
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages and experience with backend development
- Excellent product instincts and ability to think user-first
- Strong ownership instincts and ability to own projects from inception to production
- Ability to mentor others and prioritize building inclusive, supportive teams
- Experience with payment systems, infrastructure, and international commerce (nice to have)
- Startup experience at a high-growth company (nice to have)
