About the Middle Leader Role

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated teaching professional to join our team as a Middle Leader in Secondary Education.

This full-time, permanent role will see you working in a Middle Leader capacity, supporting the mission of the College through effective leadership in teaching and learning, human leadership, and strategic leadership.

To be successful in this role, you will need

1. To have knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
2. To be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
3. To have an understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate, and provide for, a diverse range of abilities
4. To have the ability to collaborate and work positively as a part of a professional learning community
5. To have a willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and achievement

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other

1. Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
2. Current Driver's Licence
3. Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
4. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
