Job Title: Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Queanbeyan, ACT. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy industrial and commercial waste vehicles, plants, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing and maintaining heavy vehicle fleet
  • Maintaining accurate records and processing work orders
  • Monitoring stock levels and advising on discrepancies
Requirements
  • Australian recognised Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate or Light Vehicle mechanic's trades licence
  • Proven mechanical experience in the automotive repair industry
  • HR licence and Forklift ticket (desirable)
  • Previous hydraulic experience or electrical would be highly regarded
  • Recent graduates, Diesel Fitters, or Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill are encouraged to apply
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role
