Clinical Educator Role

As a key member of our education team, you will play a pivotal role in initiating and delivering educational activities across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify learning opportunities, organize learning events, and follow up on education programs using a risk-based approach;
  • Deliver education on various topics related to client care and support in accordance with learning frameworks and strategy;
  • Develop and follow up on training schedules for state and residence specific training programs;
  • Develop training resources and content as directed;
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Clinical Care documentation systems;
  • Administrate systems related to Learning management systems;
  • Support the reporting of mandatory training requirements;
  • Model and demonstrate extensive knowledge of Arcare's Values, Relationship-centered model of care, and Senses-framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who possesses:

  • A minimum 12 months' experience as a nurse in Aged Care;
  • A current Police Check and Statutory Declaration, as defined;
  • Current AHPRA registration;
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills across all levels of stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated experience in exercising initiative in identifying learning needs and responding to learning needs;
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Extensive experience in working at an advanced level in an electronic Clinical Care Documentation system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment;
  • Experience as a nurse Unit Manager, Care Manager, or similar;
  • Creative flair.
