About the Role

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Byron Bay and Ballina. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our elderly residents in a residential aged care facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual needs and care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of residents' care plans
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to medical staff
What We Offer
  • A 3–6-month contract with guaranteed work of up to 60-70 hours a fortnight

Requirements
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse with experience in aged care/acute care or relevant department
  • Fabulous/genuine caring nature with demonstrated tolerance, patience, and empathy for older people
  • Verifiable experience in working in a hospital/acute care or similar environment
  • Australian work rights
  • Willingness to undergo a police check/NDIS Workers Screening check
  • Flu & COVID vaccination or willingness to obtain
