Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Byron Bay and Ballina, working in our aged care homes. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure residents' needs are met and care plans are updated
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and palliative care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practice care
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in aged care or acute care, with a strong understanding of person-centered care principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Flu and COVID vaccination, or willingness to obtain
