We are seeking a skilled and experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a large portfolio of Australian and overseas Trade Marks, providing advice to existing clients and developing new business.

The role involves working closely with our Practice Manager and Principal Director, collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional results, and managing a caseload that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You will also have experience in intellectual property law, with a strong understanding of trade mark law and practice. A background in team management and leadership is highly desirable, as well as proficiency in software such as Office 365, Clio, and NetDocuments.

Job Requirements
  • 3+ years experience as an IP lawyer or attorney
  • Ability to work as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills
  • Drive, passion and will to succeed
  • A self-starter mentality
  • Personality - vibrant and approachable
  • 2+ years experience working with SMEs
  • Experience with high-level design/patent advice
  • Exposure to Office 365, Clio, NetDocuments or similar software
  • Previous experience in team management
