Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join our team. This key role reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the hotel. As the right-hand person to the General Manager, you will play a vital part in ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive operational excellence
  • Collaborating with department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Mentoring and leading a dynamic team to achieve outstanding results
  • Fostering partnerships with food and beverage suppliers, local art scene, and surrounding community to create engaging initiatives
  • Analyzing performance data to inform decision-making and drive business growth
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven pre-opening experience in OS&E operations, design, and construction
  • A strong background in F&B management, preferably in a lifestyle hotel or high-end outsourced restaurants chain
  • Culinary expertise, including kitchen and front-of-house operations
  • A passion for food, beverage, and Sydney's nightlife concepts
