Job Description:
">The role of a Clinical Trials Start-Up Officer is to support the establishment of clinical trials within the organization's Clinical Research Centres. The officer will facilitate study start-up activities under management direction, ensuring the organization remains competitively placed to attract cutting-edge research opportunities and supports best practice in clinical research start-up.
">Key responsibilities include liaising with sponsors, investigators, collaborators, and their teams to ensure effective communication, escalation, and execution of start-up tasks. The officer will also prepare ethics and regulatory submissions, develop training materials, and utilise clinical trial management systems to track project progress and manage documents.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:
">The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in a field related to clinical trials or equivalent work experience in study start-up or clinical trial management. They must demonstrate knowledge of legislation and guidelines for conducting clinical trials in Australia, as well as experience in obtaining and maintaining ethics and governance approvals.
">Additionally, the successful candidate should have strong computer skills, be able to exercise autonomy and initiative, and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
