This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality patient care and delivers great customer service. As a pathologist, you will work independently in a solo clinic and interact with various individuals including customers, clinic staff, and couriers.

About the Role: You will be responsible for collecting samples with care and attention, keeping meticulous records, delivering documentation within strict turnaround times, preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples with precision and care
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for every patient and sample
  • Meeting tight deadlines for documentation delivery
  • Preparing specimens for transportation and laboratory testing
  • Interacting effectively with customers, clinic staff, and courier services

Requirements:

">
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a related healthcare background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of empathy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa allowing work
  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement
  • Other vaccinations based on location may be required
