Our client, a leading global contractor, is investing in expanding its internal electrical design capabilities to deliver major energy projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the company's engineering strategy and overseeing technical aspects of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee engineering activities and technical design aspects of projects with a focus on high-voltage (HV) design.
  • Develop concept and detailed designs, conduct technical investigations, tender assessments, and contract technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze electrical system requirements, capacity, cost, and project needs.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork within the engineering team to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior electrical engineer on complex energy projects.
  • Detailed design expertise.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer or eligibility for certification.
  • Membership or eligibility with a relevant engineering institution.
