Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Officer to join our team. As a key player, you will provide high-level operational, administrative, and accounting services that support our strategic objectives and uphold our service commitments.

  • Deliver accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and journal processing in compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end processes by generating financial reports, resolving account discrepancies, and responding to various ad hoc requests.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of Ministry of Health regulations, Australian Accounting Standards, and internal policies. This knowledge will enable you to work independently and make sound decisions.

  • Skilled in reconciliations, journal processing, and preparing accurate financial reports.
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues across multiple teams and sites to ensure smooth operations.
