About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Development Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of projects and activities focused on seniors, disability, and community safety.

You will effectively plan and develop community programs and projects in accordance with our strategies and plans.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in social science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating community development projects.
  • Strong report writing and compilation skills.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups and committees to achieve project goals.
  • Well-developed communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Current NSW Class C driver's licence.
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check.
