At Sonic HealthPlus, we are currently seeking a motivated Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Scientist to join our team in Gladstone, QLD, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing health screening, including musculoskeletal and fitness assessments. This may involve providing onsite health screening and wellness services.

Job Description:
  • Take patient histories and conduct physical examinations
  • Conduct musculoskeletal and fitness testing
  • Medical screening including ECG, spirometry, audiometry, drug and alcohol testing
  • Injury management
  • Delivery of health and wellness initiatives
  • Communication and liaison with clients
  • Administration duties

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science
  • Accreditation with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Working with Children Check
  • Developed computer skills and the ability to write reports
  • Ability to establish strong rapport with clients
  • Comfortable working in a diverse cross section of the population
