Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Material Handler to join our team on a full-time permanent basis based in Melbourne.

The primary function of this role is to perform materials movements within the warehouse environment leading to and including the distribution of components and materials directly to the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts
  • Moving goods and components throughout the warehouse
  • Packing and storing inventory efficiently
  • Replenishing stock levels as required
  • Kitting trolleys, trailers and boxes with necessary materials
  • Delivering materials, consumables, paints and sealants to the production line
  • Supporting cycle counting and basic inventory transactions through SAP

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Valid Forklift License
  • Knowledge of SAP systems desirable
  • Ability to work independently in a routine environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Preparedness to adapt to changing environments and implement continuous improvement initiatives
