Finance Management Position

Aquinas College is seeking an experienced finance professional to fill a challenging role in our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring staff, while ensuring the timely and accurate management of all aspects of the College finances.

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced certification in accounting or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial systems and processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and professionalism, while working in a values-based environment. They will also be required to hold appropriate Australian work rights and be willing to obtain necessary clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Manage and oversee the College's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Staff Supervision: Mentor and supervise staff, creating a positive and productive work environment.

Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including staff, students, and parents.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including taxation and government reporting requirements.
