About the Role
This position involves providing music therapy programs to individuals in the care of the Mental Health Unit at Austin Hospital Secure Extended Care Unit and those recovering from spinal cord injury in Ward 3 North.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement music therapy programs for individuals with complex mental illness and those recovering from spinal cord injury.
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and as a sole worker to deliver music therapy services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association.
- Competence in music therapy practice with individuals and groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
