Music Therapist

The Music Therapist will work within a multidisciplinary context, delivering tailored music therapy services to cancer patients and their carers. This clinical-focused role will work across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality music therapy services to cancer patients and their carers individually or in groups
- Participate in Wellness and Supportive Care team activities, including attending meetings and generating referrals
- Contribute to relevant multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver in-service education to ward staff and clinical teams
- Approved degree in Music Therapy or postgraduate degree in Music Therapy
- Current registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association
- Minimum three years of clinical experience as a Music Therapist
- Specialist knowledge and experience in Oncology
- Ability to assess clients' needs and priorities
