Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the formulation and execution of a comprehensive Asset Management Plan that encompasses generation, distribution, transmission, and ancillary assets annually, in alignment with Horizon Power's Asset Management Framework.
  • Identify and advocate for long-term strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of our assets.
  • Manage asset operations to ensure effective and efficient performance, delivering reliability and safety while maximizing economic advantages within approved financial parameters.
  • Ensure balanced performance across transmission, distribution, and generation assets, in line with corporate and divisional performance targets.
  • Guarantee that assets are constructed and maintained according to established plans and standards through a robust quality assurance process.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with relevant professional qualifications and experience. A valid WA Driver's Licence Class 'C' or 'C-A' is required.
  • Proven experience in power system asset management, including maintenance and operational strategies.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental management practices and compliance protocols.
  • Experience in developing quality systems, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements in Western Australia and their implications for Asset Management.
