Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team and contribute to a clinical trial designed to improve outcomes for people living with severe mental illness.

This is a fixed term part-time position, primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and contribute to ethics applications, research agreements, and data access processes for human research.
  • Apply your expertise in mixed-methods research to design protocols, collect and analyse data, and publish high-quality research.
  • Manage projects day-to-day, including scheduling, resourcing, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience to codesign innovative solutions.
  • Ensure project milestones are delivered within timeframes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A completed PhD in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in mixed-methods research, particularly in conceptualising research, writing protocols, and publishing findings.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage resources effectively.
  • High-level interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Experience working independently and in a team, with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • A high level of scientific literacy, as well as verbal and written communication.
