Comprehensive Hematologist Oncologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate hematologist oncologist to join our growing team in Maine. As a comprehensive hematologist oncologist, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

About the Position

This is an outstanding opportunity to practice comprehensive oncology and hematology care in a supportive and rapidly expanding environment. We encourage physicians with disease-specific subspecialty interests to apply.

  • Rapidly growing Hematology-Oncology practice of three experienced hematologist-oncologists supported by two APRNs, with opportunities for sub-specialization within the group.
  • Close collaboration with dedicated pharmacists, nurse navigators, social workers, palliative care providers, and allied staff within a well-equipped on-site infusion center.
  • Access to advanced tertiary care hematology services at MaineHealth Cancer Care (MHCC) and Maine Medical Center (MMC) in Portland, the state's leading tertiary care hospital.
  • Full-time position with a competitive call schedule, providing predominantly outpatient care and administrative time.
  • A state-of-the-art, comprehensive cancer center at Wells, ME is under planning to replace the current facilities at Sanford over the next years, incorporating radiation oncology, radiology, laboratory, and a full range of support services.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of residency/fellowship in oncology or hematology-oncology.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in oncology or hematology-oncology.
