About the role

Rydges Hotel and Sails Resort is seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel and resort.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all work functions as directed by the Maintenance Manager or their designated replacement.
  • Work with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the efficient completion of tasks.
  • Take charge and show initiative in all aspects of the Engineering Department and Hotel operations.
  • Perform various duties as detailed on the established hotel maintenance checklist.
  • Respond to and carry out all interdepartmental or guest requests concerning defects, repairs, and general assistance.
  • Log all defects and work or repairs carried out.
  • Ensure that all public areas are consistently safe and that all equipment is operating.
