Job Title: Family Connect Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated worker to join our team in providing comprehensive assessment, engagement, and case coordination services for vulnerable children and their families.

The role involves promoting a risk-aware culture, conducting thorough assessments to address the child's and family's needs, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a risk-aware culture and identify all forms of risk to clients, staff, and organization.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of families and young people to ensure their needs are addressed.
  • Work with families on issues related to child protection, such as domestic violence, mental health, and substance misuse.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in information provision, intake, assessment, and referral for working with families in need of support services.
  • Excellent understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to engage with parents and young people to develop case plans and goals.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
