Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Communications Director to join our communications and engagement practice in Central West NSW. As a key member of the team, you will use your extensive network and experience to help deliver one of NSW's largest infrastructure projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in developing and delivering communication, consultation, and community relations strategies. You will also be responsible for responding to issues associated with the planning and delivery of infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Live or willing to relocate to Central West NSW (Dubbo, Orange, or immediate surrounds)
  • Experience working in the infrastructure sector
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to write clearly and edit accurately to publish quality information for internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work co-operatively with people at all levels to achieve outcomes, including construction environments
  • Experience managing people and challenging stakeholders
  • Good negotiation and liaison skills with an interest or experience in facilitation
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to work well under pressure, be self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision
