Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Director to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading efforts within one or more Supply Chain functions, including materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management, and order fulfillment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction.
  • Manage a team of planners to partner with respective segment teams and ensure alignment between demand and supply.
  • Work cross-functionally and connect globally to improve interactions that deliver positive stakeholder experiences.
  • Support the deployment of new systems and improve cross-functional and internal handoffs to increase operating efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Optimize work processes and continuously improve operations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Develop and manage talent to meet both individual and organizational goals.
  • Direct work and remove obstacles to achieve results.
  • Drive engagement and motivation among team members.
  • Ensure accountability and meet commitments.

Inventory Management and Optimization:

Use analytics and algorithms to determine optimal inventory levels and provide guidance on planning parameter refinement.

MATERIALS KPI MANAGEMENT:

Operate within recent or historical outputs and assess gaps to supply chain performance against expectations.
