Job Opportunity:

The organization is seeking a strategic leader to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT and OT cyber security integration, as well as experience in working with service providers to enhance cyber resilience.

This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Chief Information Security Officer, preferably in a utility organization. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and executive influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The suitable individual should have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies, including risk assessments and threat landscape analysis. They should also be familiar with various cyber security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and ISO 27001.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the assessment of cyber security posture across IT and OT, identifying areas for improvement and recommending remediation measures.
  • Collaborate with the GM Technology & Systems to ensure seamless integration of IT/OT cyber security.
  • Provide mentoring and development plans for cyber teams, delivering cybersecurity briefings and updates to senior managers.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and executive influencing skills.
  • Detailed understanding of cyber security frameworks and standards.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent accreditation.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Chief Information Security Officer, preferably in a utility organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong program and portfolio management skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT and OT networks and associated security challenges.
  • Familiarity with SCADA, Cloud, AI platforms, and emerging technology.
