About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-scale big data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon DataZone, and Amazon Quicksight.
  • Deliver technical engagements with partners and customers, including participating in pre-sales visits, understanding customer requirements, creating consulting proposals, and creating packaged data analytics service offerings.
  • Engagements may include projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services, as well as migration and modernization of existing data applications and development of new data applications using AWS cloud services.
  • Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps, share real-world implementation challenges, and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.
