Experienced Water Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced water technician to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires flexibility with hours, as shifts can include day shift, afternoon shift, and on-call work as part of a rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prior experience in civil excavation works related to water or wastewater reticulation systems.
  • Ability to address customer and public issues on site, with excellent communication skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a team, with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Hold full working rights in Australia, complete a pre-employment medical, and hold a valid Driver's Licence and Working with Children check.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Site Proficiency: Prior experience in civil excavation works related to water or wastewater reticulation systems.
  • Team Orientation: Ability to work effectively within a team, with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
  • Site Qualifications: Hold a valid Driver's Licence, MR Truck Licence, White Card, Excavator/Backhoe Licence, Working at Heights, and Confined Space tickets (within 2 years' validity).

This is a hands-on role that keeps the community running, and we need people who take pride in doing the job right. As part of our crew, you'll help deliver water and wastewater projects safely and efficiently, including minor capital works.
