The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife to join our multi-disciplinary team in Katherine, Northern Territory. As a Maternal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing safe, high-quality clinical services, patient care, health promotion, and education to our clients.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package ranging from $107,604 to $115,879 per year (pro rata), plus superannuation and generous leave entitlements. We also offer relocation assistance and a short-term accommodation allowance for eligible applicants.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver client services, including antenatal and postnatal care, and infant primary health care, in accordance with Wurli's policy and procedures.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive health care services.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices among our clients.
- Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery degree or equivalent.
- Fully registered as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR) and Working with Children Clearance.
- Previous experience working in a cross-cultural service environment, particularly in Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare.
