Job Title: Visiting Medical Officer

At Liverpool Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Visiting Medical Officer to join our Plastic Surgery team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide clinical management and treatment of patients in our facility under their care. This role requires applicants to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of plastic surgery principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide High-Quality Patient Care
  • Teach and Train Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students
  • Demonstrate Commitment to Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Risk Management
  • Participate in On-Call Rosters, Elective, and Emergency Operations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
  • Demonstrated Clinical Practice of a High Standard and Ability to Adapt to Contemporary Evidence-Based Best Practice
  • Commitment to Continuing Self-Education and Development, Including Participation in Continuing Medical Education/Continuing Professional Development
