Job Title: Workshop Diesel Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to join our team. As a workshop diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance and repair of mining and construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and maintain mining and construction equipment to customer specifications.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify equipment issues.
  • Repair and maintain new and used equipment.
  • Pre-delivery inspection and testing of new equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification - commercial vehicle trades also considered.
  • Previous experience with the assembly, overhaul, repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment.
  • High risk work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights etc.) highly regarded.
  • Safety focus with good understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Good communication skills and dedication to providing quality work for an OEM.
