Education Services Manager

As a key member of the Queensland Human Rights Commission, the Education Services Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Commission's external education strategy and programs.
The successful candidate will lead a small team of highly skilled professionals to design and deliver education programs and services for public, private, and community organisations on human rights and equal opportunity.
The role requires a strong understanding of the Commission's legislative requirements, community needs, and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for engaging and managing third-party service providers to supplement delivery capacity across Queensland.
The Education Services Manager will be responsible for conceptualising and developing tools that embed human rights and prevent discrimination into systems and practices. They will also ensure financial viability, optimisation of resources, quality of outcomes, and equitable access to education programs across all of Queensland, including regional and remote areas.
The role involves designing, implementing, and continuously improving an annual internal education and training program to ensure appropriate and consistent knowledge and expertise across all of our front-line staff. The successful candidate will also establish an effective monitoring and evaluation framework to measure and report on the effectiveness of the Commission's education programs.
The Education Services Manager will maintain knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to the development of repeatable and bespoke training packages. They will also develop and maintain positive and effective stakeholder relationships, networks, and partnerships.
The role requires a high degree of autonomy, with the successful candidate working closely with the Deputy Commissioner to achieve the Commission's education goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, human rights, and equal opportunity, with excellent leadership and project management skills.
