About the Role

Infinite Consulting is seeking experienced Windows Server/Virtualisation Specialists to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining a virtualised server fleet across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to projects and business areas, leading technical deliverables;
  • Maintain, monitor, and upgrade Virtual Service Environment (VSE) environments and servers in accordance with vendor recommendations;
  • Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain new or existing virtual service developments in accordance with guidelines and in collaboration with stakeholders;
  • Configure and deploy virtual services and servers in accordance with the applications operational model governed by application owners.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience as a Windows Server/Virtualisation Specialist;
  • Demonstrated analytical background and experience in both Agile and waterfall methodologies;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in providing Wintel and VMware Infrastructure operations expertise in the following core competencies: Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Hyper-V & VMM, Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft File and Print, VMware ESX & vSphere, VMware vRA, VMware vSAN, VMware NSX, VMware virtualisation on HCI;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in providing Wintel and VMware Infrastructure operations expertise in the following core competencies: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, Amazon Web Services, CI/CD Jenkins, Nexus or similar, Ansible / Puppet.
