About Us
We're seeking an ambitious Business Analyst to work with a leading Big 4 bank in Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their BA career to gain exposure to large-scale digital transformation within banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior analysts in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Assist with process mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and product teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, showcases).
- Help analyze and improve customer journeys for digital banking products.
- Prepare documentation such as workflows, requirements, and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1-2 years' experience as a Business Analyst (internship or grad program considered).
- Exposure to banking or financial services projects - digital channels/projects highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
- Some experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar would be advantageous.
