About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Support Engineer to join our F-35 Lightning II program team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Australian Defence Force, ensuring the availability of aircraft and related support equipment.

As a Field Support Engineer, you will be embedded within the F-35 program team, working closely with our US-based team and Northrop Grumman Australia. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing, and recommending solutions to complex technical issues.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background in engineering principles and a proven track record of supporting F-35 platform or similar Air Combat aircraft. You will have extensive experience in Defence aviation and a strong understanding of reporting metrics.

You will be available to deploy with Australian Defence personnel across various exercises both nationally and internationally to provide technical support to the maintenance teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen and hold or be eligible to hold a Negative Vetting 1 clearance. You will also need to have a strong technical background in engineering principles and a proven track record of supporting F-35 platform or similar Air Combat aircraft.
