About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Yooralla, a leading disability service provider in Victoria. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and young people with a disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy services in various settings, including homes, educational settings, and the community, to maximize functional skills and participation.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Established and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability.
  • Ability to work in partnership with children and young people with a disability to set and achieve goals.
  • Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Willingness to improve on clinical practice, including self-reflection and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas of need.
  • Competency in various IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapy) and an Australian driver's license and own vehicle.
