Production Leadership Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to work with a high-performing team in the coal mining industry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the production manager by leading a mining crew to achieve production targets efficiently and safely.
  • Supervise operations when needed.
  • Perform regular inspections and complete reports according to site policies.
  • Coordinate dispatch personnel, production operators, and equipment to meet production schedules.
  • Apply best practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
About You
  • Experience as a step-up supervisor or leading hand in open-cut coal mining is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of open-cut coal mining operations.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and presentation skills with a friendly and motivational approach.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in the coal mining industry.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Verification of machinery skills and relevant certifications are essential.
