Aged Care Assistant Role

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Assistant to join our team in Adelaide. As an Aged Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly individuals to remain living independently in their own homes.

This is a flexible casual position that requires assistance with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, personal care, and community access. You will help our clients maintain their independence and provide support with various activities throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build rapport with clients, and work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification, as well as an Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic assistance including meal preparation and light cleaning
  • Personal Care including grooming and showering
  • Community access to medical appointments and social activities
  • Assistance with tasks and routines outlined by a healthcare professional
