Director of Audit Analysis and Insights Job Summary:

This senior leadership position oversees the analysis of audit data to identify risks, insights, and trends. The Director supports complex audit and analytics projects and works closely with internal and external stakeholders and audit teams to deliver quality reports.

The role is part of the senior leadership cohort, working collaboratively with other Directors within the Audit and Risk Management Directorate to identify emerging trends and risks through the analysis and evaluation of information gathered from registers, reports, and management interactions.

The Director will source information and provide timely, accurate, well-researched, and relevant advice, providing regular briefing papers, reports, or submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic management of the section and develop strategic solutions;
  • Provide strategic advice on risk management, audit, and assurance obligations;
  • Conduct professional and technical analyses on audit and risk issues;
  • Raise awareness of emerging or existing trends, insights, or patterns from analyses in the form of reports, briefs, or papers;
  • Motivate, guide, and develop staff;
  • Assist the Executive Director, Audit and Risk Management, in managing the Audit and Risk Management team, while working collaboratively with other colleagues and counterparts to achieve objectives.
