About the Role:
As a Clinical Development Nurse in the Rehabilitation and Education team at ACT Health, you will play a vital role in promoting a learning culture and coordinating education within our facilities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to patients recovering from surgery, injury, or experiencing mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate education and training programs for clinical staff
- Develop and implement education strategies to promote a learning culture
- Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Educator and multidisciplinary team to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care
- Participate in the first response team and assist in ensuring staff have Intermediate Life Support skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Experience in rehabilitation nursing and education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
