Job Title: Procurement Manager - Construction Category

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in managing construction category procurement arrangements. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies that drive value for money while meeting stakeholder expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your knowledge of commercial risks, supply markets, and business needs to inform procurement decisions, leading sourcing activities across various categories.
  • Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies to ensure best-in-class procurement outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish effective supply arrangements, negotiate changes and modifications, and manage supplier performance and compliance requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement risks to ensure the organisation meets its obligations and maximises business opportunities.
  • Develop and administer contract management plans, and provide governance, advice, and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement and procurement categories.

Skill Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in the construction category.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of commercial risks, supply markets, and business needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-centric approach.
