Key Job Highlights:

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team, providing clinical mental health assessments and treatment to young people in youth justice custody.

The ideal candidate will possess strong theoretical skills, experience and knowledge of evidence-based clinical assessment, formulation and mental health treatment modalities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive clinical mental health assessments and treatment plans for young people in youth justice custody
  2. Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, sharing expertise and collaborating on case management
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders from youth justice and other service providers

Your Ideal Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold a relevant degree in Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Psychology (Clinical/Forensic)
  • Have experience working with young people in youth justice settings
  • Be registered with AHPRA or hold equivalent registration
