Job Title: Technical Lead - Building Inspections
About the Role- This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team of building inspectors and contribute to shaping the standard in the industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 15+ inspectors, conducting complex inspections as needed, applying their knowledge of engineering principles to real-world inspection scenarios, and delivering internal training and onboarding programs for inspectors.
In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a pragmatic problem-solving approach, and the ability to guide others with confidence.
About You- A degree or diploma qualified Structural Engineer preferred (Minimum Registered Builder or Building Surveyor)
- Working knowledge of the NCC, WA Guide to Standards & Tolerances, and AS 4349
- Comfortable reviewing reports and making clear technical calls
This role offers a hybrid environment combining field inspections, technical mentoring, and strategic leadership. The successful candidate will have direct influence over systems, tools, standards, and the future direction of the inspection team.
