About the Job
The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) is seeking an experienced Payroll Services Advisor to join its team. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payrolls for RACV.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a complex payroll environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time, including new starters/separations, bonuses, backpays, and termination payments.
- Work collaboratively with the payroll team to ensure seamless delivery of end-to-end payroll processes.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and procedures.
- Maintain proactive awareness of relevant legislation and standards, including identification of pending changes.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge and experience interpreting industrial instruments, particularly Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards, and HR Policies.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Payroll systems experience, including SAP and/or Kronos.
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll-related laws, regulations, and compliance activities, as well as Superannuation legislation.
